Members of the Mitchell High School HOSA-Future Health Professionals organization attend the annual HOSA State Leadership Conference in Greensboro, NC on March 9th-12th. A total of 13 Mitchell High School HOSA students competed in a variety of the state level HOSA competitions. During the conference, HOSA members also had the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops and exhibits. The following were the results from the competition: Ashley Barajas, Elizabeth Badillo and Selena Queriapa-2nd Place Health Education; Daisy Campos-Top 10 Job Seeking Skills; Amelia Tehandon-Top 10 Research Poster; Connor Birchfield, Alex Huang, Abby Richadson, Rheagan Thomas and Delaney Jenkins-Top 10 PSA and competing were Brinkley Hodshon, Maggie Martin and Nicole Garland. Mrs. Katy Grindstaff, Mitchell HOSA advisor said all of the students enjoyed the conference and HOSA and Mitchell High School are very proud of their accomplishments. Congratulations HOSA!
