Clubs and Activities

Each club has an allocated 30 minute meeting time!

All MECHS students are expected to participate in at least one club.

  • Video -Weekly News (found on the home page)

  • Cooking Club meets every 2 weeks- Mrs. Forbes

  • TECH Club (Google Representative)- Edwards

  • 4-H- Once a month for competitions- see Mrs. Burleson

  • Environmental/Horticulture- Mrs. Winters

  • Fashion Club- Mrs. Crosby

  • National Society of Leadership and Success- Hunter

  • SGA meets Mondays with Mrs. Edwards

  • MCC SGA- Ms. Brooklyn Hunter

  • Board Games- Mrs. Ronda Silver

  • Yearbook- Meets with Mrs. Winters

  • National Honor Society- 10 hrs community service and 3.0 GPA

  • Introductory Strings (guitar) Tuesday with Mrs. Crosby

  • Art Club -TRAC on Wednesday

  • Chorus- Mrs. Burleson

  • Teen Talk- Thursday & Friday @ lunch w/ Mrs. Robinson

  • Key Club- Mrs. Robinson

  • Peer Tutors- must be approved by Mrs. Crosby

  • American Sign Language- Mrs. Winters

  • BOB- Mrs. Ward

  • Pinterest- Mrs. Burleson

  • Huddle Club- before school and lunch on Wednesday with Mrs. Willis

  • Math Club for competition- Mrs. Willis

  • Tennis- Spring and Fall dependent upon sponsor availability

  • Outdoor Rec Club (hiking, fishing, etc)- See Mrs. WInters
